Good day, friends. Adriana here for our Adavino mid-year update!

It’s mind-blowing that nearly three years have passed since Adavino planted its first seeds in the wine business.  More mind-blowing however is where we stand now.

Worth mentioning first is that our numbers in 2013 doubled 2012’s. That’s a huge accomplishment, which we achieved together! Beyond that, our portfolio has grown even further, we’ve participated in a variety of tastings and events, and have made strides in supporting charity and the community in the Adavino name.

We’ve made a couple of exciting acquisitions to add to our world-class California wine selections.  A.P Vin Wines, lauded by critics for their exceptional, hand-crafted Pinot Noirs, has brought us a number of their vineyard designate bottlings, including: Clos Pepe, Keefer Ranch, Ridgetop, Kanzler, Gary’s and Rosella’s Vineyards. A sure hit for your customers looking for really special Pinots.

Also new is Ellman Family Vineyards. Our neighbors in Fort Lauderdale have brought us some exciting Napa Valley proprietary blends along with Pinot Noirs from Sonoma and Russian River.

 Our tried and true wineries have supported further growth as well.  Husic has brought on their Pinot Noir, which is tasting exceptionally! We’ve got a couple of fun varietals to help beat the summer heat, too. The Pott 20m3 Viognier and David Arthur Rose will fill refreshing voids through the hot months.

On an international level, we’re thrilled to announce that we now have acquired Calina Chilean wines. Outstanding Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon and Carmenere at a price that brings Adavino into the house wine business. Wines that can poured all day long with the confidence that if the juice weren’t in the bottle, it wouldn’t be an Adavino selection.

In National Account news, we’ve hit the big time! Morton’s has brought on the Kamen Cabernet Sauvignon, and Oceanaire has placed Blue Rock Baby Blue by the glass on their lists. Very exciting indeed.

2014 has already been a busy year so far for tastings and events, with plenty more on the horizon.  First quarter alone we’ve poured at: the South Beach Food and Wine Festival, Wine Women and Shoes, The Palm Beach International Boat Show, the Sailfish Club of Palm Beach’s 75th Anniversary, Las Olas Wine and Food Festival, Wine Quest, San Destin Wine Festival and Destin Charity Wine Auctions,  showcasing and spreading the word to push our growth even further.  Philanthropically we’ve stayed active as well, with Adriana rapeelling 14 stories off a hotel rooftop, raising funds for Gilda’s Club in the Adavino name.

Possibly the most exciting news of all is that Adavino has hired Eric Miller as Market Manager for the Orlando, Tampa and Jacksonville markets.  With five years distributor experience and an extensive hospitality background, he will double our man-power to provide you with even better service and more frequent visits. (Though for those of you who insist on still seeing my shining face, you’ll still be able to do that too!)  Eric will be starting on July 1st. If you welcome him with even half the enthusiasm you did when I hit the streets, he’ll be in great shape!

Be on the lookout in the coming months as we will be offering some great new pricing for by the glass and case stacking to help keep your profits at a high.
